Farm Marketing

A holistic approach to marketing farms considers your practices, customers, community, location, and the crops you grow — interwoven to tell your unique farm story.

Services include branding, logo design, websites, video, storytelling, product and packaging design, email marketing, farmstead displays, planning, and consulting to cultivate a path for growth.

Why specialize in farms? Simple. We care about the viability of farmers, local food, and a sustainable environment.

OLD GATES FARM

This Vermont farm is using climate-resilient practices of Dry Land Farming, cover cropping, rebuilding soil nutrients, and growing food with no irrigation. The Stevenson-Jacoby Family has spent the last 20 years stewarding this land with the hope of leaving it better for next the generation.

Spending a full day on the farm, DC Creative Studio captured personal interviews, photography, and video to tell the story of Old Gates Farm.

Through a dedicated practice of rebuilding soil, Old Gates Farm changed quackgrass infested fields into nutrient rich farmland using no irrigation.

Topics covered include: rotational cover cropping, water conservation, biodiversity, weed control, shallow tillage, Eric and Anne Nordell’s Dry Land Farming methods, sweet corn, market produce, and much more.

OVERSTORY FARM: PACKAGING DESIGN

OVERSTORY FARM: PACKAGING DESIGN

The coiled fiddlehead fern is a celebrated symbol of spring for this forest-farm in Vermont. Packaging was artfully designed to showcase the fiddlehead’s natural beauty as well as the handmade quality of this specialty food produced in small batches by the farm.

Overstory Farm is a small forest and perennial farm growing with agroforestry, climate resilient, and organic practices. Please check back for more from this farm including logo design and website, all of which are in process.

CHANTRY FARM: LOGO DESIGN

CHANTRY FARM: LOGO DESIGN

This farm practices agriculture in relation to bio-dynamics and is branding a harmony between the micro and macro in nature. Owners and farmers, Dr. Margrit Mikulis, ND and Jay Malouf believe in the power of nature. They have spent the last several years stewarding their land and developing an organic farm in the hills of Vermont growing medicinal plants and flowers that support Ayurvedic philosophies.

Beginning with the moon, the narrative style logo depicts the story of Chantry Farm’s celestial relation to its primary crops of Saffron, Rose, and Tulsi.

BIG SKY FARM: LABEL DESIGN

BIG SKY FARM: LABEL DESIGN

In the spring, when the evening temperatures are below freezing and daytime temperatures warm above freezing, sap flows from Sugar Maples. This was the concept for the design and illustration of this maple syrup label for this small Vermont farm.
